Intro Animation

Eric Jacobus had asked Ed Kahan Jr. to put together an animated intro for Contour with film credits--hand-drawn. Unaware of the massive undertaking that awaited him, Ed Kahana committed to the project. Granted, he could draw fairly well, but 2 minutes of hand-drawn animation was well beyond his abilities. However, when Kahana injured his right knee in December of 2005, he found that all he could do was sit at the computer with his leg elevated and start the animation. The majority of the animation was completed well before Kahana recovered, it would take another year before he would finish the entire animation piece complete with digtally painted backgrounds and shading. The animation began in January of 2005 and was completed in June of 2006.
