Production Notes The Stunt People, a group of talented martial artists and filmmakers, set out to make a film that would entertain people with martial arts and comedy. Spearheaded by the team leader, Eric Jacobus, Contour began production in December of 2004 and finished production in January of 2006. Post-production was completed in June 2006. The film was shot digitally for a budget of under $5,000. Original music was composed for the film by local band Drop Black Sky, and local composer Mark Degli Antoni. Throughout production, the only significant injuries on set were Ray Carbonel's spinal injury and Ed Kahana Jr.'s knee-ligament tear (ACL). Both actors continued to finish their action sequences despite their severe injuries. All of the lead actors performed their own action sequences without the use of stunt doubles. Throughout production, many of the lead actors were either in school full time or working full time. Locations used for the film include downtown San Francisco, Coit Tower, the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, an Oakland warehouse, and San Francisco State University. 7.01.06 Contour Premier Sold Out Press ContactEdward Kahana Jr. Email:edstuntpeople@hotmail.com Phone:415.298.1733 |
